The One Minute Manager; Kenneth Blanchard, Spencer Johnson
Described as a "short book that has big results." I'd have to agree. Anyone managing someone else for the first time, whether employee, supplier or partner will benefit from reading this book. In 110 short pages it covers goal setting, appraisal, praising and reprimands in an easy to understand and use manner.

Igniting the third factor; Dr Peter Jensen
An excellent book on coaching, whether in the workplace, sports arena or within the family. Dr Peter Jensen has worked with the Canadian Olympic teams as well as businesses and this book deals with the third factor best described as self development. If nature and nurture are first two factors, then self-development is the third factor which influences our personality and behaviour.
